I love fresh snow, and its snowing right now as I write. Tomorrow, Christmas Eve, I'll awake to a winter wonderland of modest proportion. We're only expecting 5-6 inches here. I'll have my morning coffee on the front porch and enjoy the white blanket adorning the yard before the mailman and the kids have a chance to place the footprints. Late in the evening, long after our traditional dinner and while my child sleeps awaiting Santa, I'll take a walk. |
I had for my winter evening walk -- No one at all with whom to talk, But I had the cottages in a row Up to their shining eyes in snow. Robert Frost | ||

![]() | as much as I have enjoyed creating it. Christmas is alot of things to alot of folks. To me, its about a little girl in Arkansas named Lauren (and millions like her) who wrote to me not long ago as follows: I'm Only 10. And I only have $16.00, so can you give me any Snow Babies $14.00 and under. And also that Snow Baby was a Christmas present for my mom, and I need a present for her soon. Thanks, Lauren will have a snowbaby under the tree from Lauren. And me? I've got a warm feeling inside. Merry Christmas Lauren! | ![]() |
