| This is an identification guide of antique snow babies by Ray and Eilene Early. With the exception of the color cover pictures, this 42 page booklet contains black and white plate photography of approximately 140 snow babies and snow baby related materials. Out of print since 1983, and available here autographed by Ray Early, this booklet is a "must have" for serious collectors of antique snow babies and snow babies memorabilia. IMHO the booklet itself is "collectible". Special Note: If you are a D56 Snowbabies collector only having no interest at all in "oldbabies", you will not likely find this booklet appealing. |

| Ever get an offer to buy at "book"? More likely than not, the "book" was Greenbook, a guide to D56 Snowbabies. Widely respected for breadth of collectibles information and values, beginning in 1997 the Greenbook folks bifurcated their D56 village and Snowbabies coverage into separate publications. Updated annually, the Greenbook contains a marvelous history section, in question and answer format, by well known Department 56 authority, Peter George. Features like that make even older editions nice to own. You can learn more about Greenbook and place orders for current editions at Peter's web site. |
